Upham Beach Inn

My family and I recently stayed at the Upham Beach Inn and absolutely loved it. The beach is a short walk away from the property as well as privately owned ice cream shops and a small bar/restaurant, Rick's Reef. It was newly renovated and has a cozy feel. The kids loved having their own room with a TV with cable hook-up. The owners have equipped their property with practically everything you could need. There is a grill available to the tenants that we cooked hot dogs and burgers our first night. The kitchen is fully stocked with utensils and pots/pants. Each unit comes with a "beach box" that comes with an umbrella, a wagon, two chairs, and toys for the kids. After visiting the beach we returned to the property and took advantage of the heated pool. We would definitely stay there again and look forward to the opportunity.

We stayed here for the 4th of July weekend and had the best time. The location is very convenient to many restaurants and the short walk to the beach is really nice. And you dont have to deal with parking issues. The room was nice. The kitchen was stocked with whatever you might need. My kids enjoyed the pool a lot. There is a shower to rinse the sand off. It felt clean and I would absolutely stay here again.

SQUEAKY CLEAN! This place is great. Walking distance to restaurants and ice cream. A short easy walk to the beach (the street ends at the beach's parking lot, and it is not a busy street). They even provide you a wagon to roll your things to the beach. The room was extremely clean, and the public areas and the pool were also clean and well cared for. Even stuff like the remotes, air conditioner vents, baseboard, etc. were cleaned. Not a "spring break" party atmosphere, which was a plus for us. We stayed in one of the 1-bedroom units. There is good separation between the bedroom and kitchen/living room in case anybody needs space to sleep or work separately. The kitchen is stocked with cookware, dishes, and a full size fridge. It's a good, usable size for a vacation kitchen. Will definitely stay here again next time we are in the area!

Pretty good location, about a block from the beach. We've stayed before, and there was a wagon in the bin, so assumed everyone had one. This past time, we had 2 suites, but no wagons in either! Thankfully a neighbor didn't have kids and said we could use theirs, so we did that! Also had a broken umbrella in it . The room was clean, and the AC worked awesome! Only issue was our last night, my husband had either a palmetto bug or a roach crawling up his leg in the middle of the night, then there was another on the door before we left for the airport.

Super stoked to have booked this inn for mine and my husband’s vacation! Staff was very friendly and made booking our week stay at the beach so simple. The free parking was nice to have so we could stay parked at the hotel and walk around all day and go to the beach. We had a full size kitchen which helped us save instead of eating out every night. I also enjoyed the facility being fenced in, which made me feel more safe traveling somewhere new. If you’re thinking of going to Upham beach then consider staying at this inn! Will definitely be recommending to my family and friends.
